“Watercolour Taster Workshop”
Whether you're picking up a brush for the first time or looking to refresh your skills, come along for some fun watercolour exercises and learn the fundamentals of the wonderfully fluid medium of watercolour on this fun interactive workshop. Let go, have fun, and explore your creativity for a couple of hours.
Basic materials will be available, but feel free to bring your own paints and brushes if you prefer.

Childrens’ ARTXTRA Saturday Art Club
Drop in to this fun and relaxed Art Club session (which runs every Saturday morning).

ARTXTRA Workshop – “Nostalgic toy and game making”
Until the 1980s children would often make their own entertainment - creating games and hand making toys. Over the CHAFF weekend she will be hosting workshops for families to come along and make things like paper dolls, sock puppets, dolly peg dolls and much, much more.

“Have a go at sgraffito”
Visitors to Ella's studio can have a go at the simple pottery decorating technique of sgraffito, using pre-thrown pottery items.
Turn up and have a go at this simple but fun activity, no booking is required. Ella will glaze and fire your finished piece for collection at a later date.
The activity is suitable for any age, no experience required.

“Abstract Painting”
Abstract painting is the most freeing art form – why not try it yourself on this immersive workshop. Using oil paints alla prima, rags and kitchen roll Beth will show you how to create dramatic and evocative landscapes and skies. No experience required.
